Air Filter Replacement
The car did not come with an air filter and the stock air filter is no
longer available :( So, the hunt is on for a suitable fitting
filter.
After much Googling, I found AutoAtlanta.com carries stock p/n 022
129 620. But no, they carry a replacement requiring shimming.
The filter is a Napa Gold 6036. Shimming with foam tape is required.

No rattles or gaps when top is closed
I also tried K&N E-3218, but this filter is too tall. The
stock filter measures about 3.22" tall on ID, 2.94" tall on OD. The
triangular sectioned boss on the ID ends of the filter do the sealing
(3.22"). The E3218 is 3.25" tall with 4.875" ID, but the
rubber seals are not as compliant as the stock filter so the air filter
housing does not close properly.
K&N E-3218 closed with leaks, so another return...
