Pertronix Igniter Electronic Ignition
For vacuum advance distributor, model 1847V Pertronix Igniter Electronic Ignition was purchased from BusDepot.com.
The points ground wire was previously re-soldered to the advance
plate, so a replacement ground wire was created and grounded to the
outside of the distributor case. Routing of the wires ensures
uninterrupted movement of the advance plate. In addition, the
rotor must be ground down so it can seat properly over the magnetic
pickup (see gap under rotor). Coil was replaced with Bosch Blue (p/n 043905115C). Spark plugs replaced with Bosch Tri-Electrode Copper (p/n W7DTC).
